Peptides are not regulated in South Africa and for this reason no script is needed. Companies that purport to require doctors' scripts, and offer these scripts to customers from in-house doctors, are providing an unnecessary service and cost to the customer. In some cases we reserve the right to supply items based on customer information received.

Since the early 2000s, peptides have been used by athletes to improve their performance. Peptides are substances that occur naturally in the body and are involved in a variety of functions, including cell communication, metabolism, and immunity. While peptides are legal in many countries, their use is banned in sports by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). In South Africa, peptides are not currently regulated by SAHPRA, but this may change in the future. We employ legal counsel to check the legality of our items frequently against South African law, and for patent infringements, and we update and adjust item offerings as regulations change. There is currently no absolute definitive answer as to whether peptides are legal in South Africa. However, given the lack of regulation around their use, peptides are not currently illegal. This could change in the future, and SAHPRA continues to monitor the use and sale of peptides in South Africa.

In consideration of the sale of the product to the purchaser, which sales we would not otherwise make, the purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold Research Peptides South Africa harmless from all claims, expenses, losses and liability of any nature whatsoever arising out of the purchaser's handling and/or use of any product sold here, whether used alone or in combination with any other substance, no matter what its origination.

Use of products: products are intended only for research purposes unless otherwise explicitly stated. The purposes not intended for products sold here include, but are not limited to, in vitro diagnostic purposes, in foods, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics for humans or animals, or for commercial purposes.

The buyer acknowledges that the products have not been tested by the supplier for safety and efficacy in food, drug, medical device, cosmetic, commercial or any other use. The buyer expressly represents and warrants to the supplier that the buyer will properly test and use any products purchased, and/or materials produced with products purchased, in accordance with the practices of any reasonable person who is an expert in the appropriate scientific field of study, and in strict compliance with all applicable South African laws and regulations, now and hereinafter enacted.

The buyer further warrants that any material produced with products from the supplier shall not be adulterated or misbranded outside of the boundaries of actual ingredients contained within, and that use will only be for research supply, to persons approved by Research Peptides South Africa.

If the products purchased are repackaged, relabeled or used as starting material or components of other products, the buyer will verify the supplier's assay of the products.

All products and services offered are for laboratory and research activities exclusively. By placing orders with Research Peptides South Africa, it is understood by the buyer that under no circumstances should any of these chemicals or materials be used in an inappropriate manner. No products here are to be used for recreational purposes nor human consumption. All customers are assumed and expected to be qualified researchers.
